water leaks into front of instrument panel

    can anyone shed any light on why my 1996 SL-1 Saturn is leaking water into
    the area under the instrument panel on the driver side. Water flows down
    the console and puddles in the divers floor panel. Appears to be coming
    down in front of windshield into an area near the rubber flap on the
    engine firewall. I can't tell how the water gets to the inside of car. I
    called Saturn dealer resulting in no help.Any help will be greatly
    appreciated. This thing is not usable in hard rain while either setting
    still or motoring down the road. Thanks
