VUE Auto door locks

Is there a way to prevent the VUE from locking the doors automatically every
time I put it in gear.

by the way the car has power door locks.

Not sure offhand, but check the manual. I know there is on the Ion (some
magic button press combinations on the door locks with the key turned on, I
believe..)

 

Kinda figured they were power, since they're locking by themselves

But no, there's no way to disable the feature. Most cars nowadays
either lock automatically when the vehicle is put in gear, or when the
vehicle starts moving.
