Vin # search SL1

Please help can someone please run a vin search on
1G8ZG5284SZ240843 I need information before
I buy a car for my son's college
car history is important and Money is tight
So I can't make a mistake.
The dealer is telling me it's a one owner vehicle. How can I trust them?

Any help would be appreciated.

There's a service called CarFAX, but you have to be a member. I think they
offer the first VIN search for free. Check it out at www.carfax.com.

I've done that, when I was looking to buy.

You'll have a record for when the title was first transferred to you name,
and (in Texas at least) when you get it inspected, if you have to do an
emissions inspection, that shows up. Now that I don't live in Harris
County, my inspections don't show up.

Anyway, with those emissions inspections, you'll see the mileage on the
CarFax report.
