NGK Platinum plugs will give you good performance. Saturn originally used
NGK's in the old SL models.

  3. I use NGK's in my 96 SL2, do the platinums really give better
    performance verses the regulars?

    thanks,

  5. Thanks, in my recent spark plug/wire change, I had to goto Napa for
the plugs, since other major chains didn't even carry the NGK line, or
had any instock. I'll have to prebuy the plugs before I change them
next time to find the platinum ones.

The Platinum's only make your car go faster if you have a big aluminum
wing(which also makes your car faster) hanging off the back.

  7. That's a Wing? All this time when I see those cars, I thought it was
something useful like a tail-gate BBQ'er. Man, a wing is dumb. But
    BBQing is cool. :p
