Saturn - Rebates & cash incentives?

Discussion in 'General Motoring' started by Phil Marshall, Jun 6, 2006.

  1. Hi:

Just wondering if Saturn has a policy against rebates & cash incentives?

I note that right now GM is offering $1,000 toward the purchase of either
the Chevy Uplander or Buick Terraza, but not the Saturn version, the Relay.

So do you pay more for Saturns?

We actually plan on getting a Saturn Vue (6FWD) very soon. I was just
hoping that Saturn might offer some special incentive to help make the
acquisition more pleasant. Haven't had to make car payments for several
years now and do not look forward to it ...

There's no secret about how Saturn does business as opposed to the other
branches of GM. Saturn has always offered one priced no hassle no haggle
pricing. They do offer financing incentives and other programs in lieu of
the standard GM type rebate which can work out quite well for your needs. Do
you pay more for a Saturn? as compared to what? an Aveo or a base G6?
problably, but then again, IMHO Saturns pack more advanced base features
than just about any other domestic brand out there for a good competitive
price. Ask a repeat Saturn owner or better yet, check it out for yourself.

There is a $2000 incentive on the Relay, and an additional $500
incentive on all Saturn cars until the end of this month, if you
    finance with GMAC at 6.9%.

Or, you can finance a Relay at 3.9% for 60 months and get $500
    incentive

Or, you can finance a Relay at 0% for 48 months and get $500 incentive.

Or, you can pay cash and get $500 off.

In Canada they give a gas card with some or all models that gets you 20
cents per litre (80 cents/gallon for the US readers) off gas up to 2500L. If
you do the math that's $500 bonus. Most GM branches are offering the same
    though.
