We got our ION-3 about three weeks ago. We got a total of $2000 off and they financed almost all the rest at 0% for 60 months. From what I knew, I thought that was good for a Saturn. What's more, though, this car is really nice.

My wife and I both got 2003 Saturn Ion 2 in the course of the last two weeks. On mine I got 1500 off and 0% for 60 months. My wife liked the car so much we traded in her old (2001) Saturn and got her an Ion 2 a few days ago and got a total of 2500 (an additional 1000 dollar "GM Loyalty) incentive had kicked in) off and 0% for 60 months. Mine's black with a spoiler, hers is silver blue with no spoiler. Her vanity plate is PADME and mine is STR WARS. We are total geeks! Saturn does not do straight price drops but they do have incentives that do the same thing. This close to the 2004's coming in they gotta move those cars just like any other company. We knew that and that is why we chose to buy at this time on the first one. After looking at her payment on her old Saturn it just made sense to drop her payment 50-60 bucks a month and drive a brand new car. Less money, 0 Percent interest, new car. How hard a decision is that?

I got my ION2 a month ago and I got $1000 off 1.9% for 72 months, $750 military discount, $500 tornado area. On top of that I had the GM supplier discount which is dealer invoice price + 4%. I think I got a pretty good deal ! Plus a great car !! what else could I asked for ?

I wish they did that back in april,i got $700.00 for a trade in,but,they weren;t doing this $1000.00 off. In my area in July you could get up to $5500 off
the L series, $4500 off the Ion, minimum of $3000
if you financed. Didn't see the same offer for
August, in fact there were no ads from the Saturn
dealers in this weekends paper. The dealers in my
area were just sold to Sonic (not the food chain)
and they are closing the dealer closest to me in
Sunnyvale.
Saturn doesn't do haggling, but they certainly do
adjust prices to move inventory.
Anybody ever make it to a Saturn Homecoming in Spring Hill?
