I replaced the battery in my 2000 Saturn LS and now my radio/CD/tape
player won't work. I contacted Saturn and they want me to bring it
back to their shop so they can put in some secret code that will
    unlock it.
I really don't have the time to drive down there and have them dink
around with it. That's why I changed my own battery.
Anyone know what the security code is and the procedure to get it
    working?
    Thanks,

  2. The code is whatever you, or some previous owner, put in there when they
turned on the Theftlock feature. The dealer can call into the Delco
automated system, give it the serial number of the radio (or some number
that can be obtained from the radio control panel with some magic button
presses), and get a master unlock code for that radio (it's different for
    each one).

Yep, your right on the money. I continued to research it and realized
I had turned on that feature when we bought the car. I found the code,
followed the procedure in the manual and I'm all set.

    Thanks anyway.
