radio removal

My son has a 2003 ION 1. I bought him a new cd player and need to know
how to get the old unit out. Anyone have any info on that process?

Nothing to it. GENTLY remove the bezel that encloses the radio. The bezel just
snaps in and you can work a tool around it and work it loose. I just stick my
fingers in the air vents and pull it out but if I break it I can get a new one
for free, you'll have to buy one. The radio is right there-2 7mm screws. Now,
I'm not sure what kind of tricks you'll have to do to hook up the new unit but
getting the old one out is easy. Hutch
