My Saturn dealer "repaired" a vibration problem coming from the automatic
transmission. The vibrations were lasting for about 5 seconds and occur
when driving around 40 to 50 miles/hour. Car mileage is 45,000 miles. The
repair cost was $625 Can. (mainly time). The transmission was dismantled
to reconnect a wire that was partly disconnect on a sensor (pressure?)
located in the transmission. The signal from that sensor is used by a
computer module controlling the transmission. (info coming from my dealer)
The car was OK for about 1 month but it is starting to do the same thing
again. Is anyone experiencing similar problem? Also do you think is
should be covered by the power train guarantee which is still applicable
to my car? My dealer said since it was not a mechanical part that failed.

Read the warranty. Seems to me that the AT is part of the power train and
should be covered. Call Saturn and bitch.
