Anyone know how difficult and what the process is to replace the antenna on
a 2003 L200? I sheared it off at the base. Not sure if this is a job that
needs to be done at the dealership of whether I can do it.

The antenna screws onto the base so it comes off easily. Is the male screw
thread still OK on the base to antenna or did you break the entire thing off
at roof level? If the later, you have to remove some trim and drop the rear
end of the headliner to get access to the base. iirc, there is a screw
connection from the cable to the antenna base.

I've been meaning to look more into this on my lw300. I hit a low branch and
now at times the radio gets weak signal and static. Was going to swap out
the antenna mast from the screw-on part and just hoping that it was not the
    base that was damaged.
