Has anyone had the DRL recall performed on a Saturn Ion yet?
Supposedly they install new bulbs and a "DRL jumper block"--where
is that jumper block and what does it do?

I got the letter but am on the waiting list for work, or until the signals stop
working, a minor bug anyway- Why don't they do a recall for the sway bar
    bushings ??!
clunk, clunk, they suk, no excuse for crappy parts.

I've already replaced the left-side bulb--thought the bulb had
gone bad. Only $5 at Autozone, but still annoying.

I hadn't heard about the sway bar bushing thing. Then again, I'm
used to driving on Massachusetts roads, so I'm used to all kinds
of weird noises coming from the undercarriage. I swear, they
must use the roads around here for artillery practice.

On top of it, the right-hand headlamp assembly is starting to
develop this weird milky haze in the plastic. Wonder what
    *that's* from.

Yes they replaced both on mine because they MELTED into unusable blobs,
welding the lights into place. I wonder what the flashpoint of that stuff
    might be...? hm.

I think they just put an inline resistor, but I didn't check except to
notice the wires looked new (and the lights work).
