ION at Bonneville

Check out Hemmings Muscle Machines mag , Jan 2004 issue (mine just came in
the mail today).

On page 46 is a 700hp (a detuned version of an Ecotec 1,100hp turbo drag
motor) ION Redline that did 212 mph on the salt flats. It was turning just
past 9,100 rpm's at 210 mph - ahhhhhh, sounds like heaven to me!!!

I don't see anyone online for the Hemmings mag. However if you do a search
on "Saturn ION Bonneville" you'll turn up some info, ex:
