We are going thru the mechanical phase of the construction. The AC guy is
finished for now. The electrician will be thru the rough next week. The
plumber has had the rough inspection and then disappeared to another job. He
is also doing the heat which 2 days away from testing the zones. No boiler
yet. The electric, cable and tele are underground if the wiring inspector
ever gets his ass out here to inspect. The new electric service is 400 AMP.
The electrician said that they have used over 8000 feet of wire so far. Ken
and I were allowed to pull the low voltage CAT 5e and CATV. We have used
approximately 1,100 ft of CATV and close to 3,500 ft of CAT 5e. Each room
has 2 Data ports, 1 CATV and 1 tele. I bought a swing out wall mount
network cabling rack. There is a 48 port patch panel of which 38 will
eventually be assigned. I have a 24 port 10/100 unmanaged switch. I would
like to pickup a Cisco 24 port managed switch in addition. The wiring is
definitely overkill for now but it will be ready for whatever may come
along. I also have 2 wireless access points. The network cabling can also be
used for audio. Ken is working on building a device for the audio
distribution. The drywall contractor estimates 320 sheets of 4X12 Blueboard.
Using 1 primer and 2 finish coats I will need approximately 130 gallons of
paint.

I have seen an MD who also does Homeopathy. She has prescribed a remedy
which was ordered from a Rx in CA. It is being shipped Priority mail and I
expect the delivery tomorrow. I am also taking a Probiotic called Primal
Defense. She said that these remedies would initially irritate the
Diverticulitis and I have been feeling a higher level of discomfort since I
started the Probiotic. I am taking my fiber faithfully and I believe that it
helps.
