    Hello ---

I have a 1998 SL2 and the drivers side CV axel is starting to go bad. I was looking at Rock Auto and they give choices of ABS or non ABS - can anyone tell me which one i need to purchase?

    thanks....and much appreciated!

it will depend on whither you have ABS or not on the car. one way to tell is to look at the rear of the brake caliper and see it there is an electrical plug/connector. If there is you have ABS and will likely want to stay with ABS. you can also tell by look at the brake master cyclinder. if you have abs the lines will be coming out of a block instead of the master cyclinder. a final way to check is to run your vin number on one of the free sites that details all the options on your car. Hope this helps
