Front Frame Mounts Rusted

Hello, My 2007 Vue's front frame is rusted out on both sides where it meets the sub-frame. Is it worth getting repaired or replaced? And is it safe to drive - at least to a shop to have it looked at? I just learned of this problem 2 days ago and haven't driven it since. Trying to find a shop that actually does this type of work. See attachment. Thanks.

 

If it was the subframe you could replace it.
Since it's the actual frame, I doubt it will pass any inspection that is required in your state. Someone would need to weld steel plates on either side of that frame member to restore strength to the area. I'm sure you've already driven it to a mechanic who advised either to have someone weld the plates to it or tell it to a junkyard
