2007 Saturn Vue. The right rear blinker blinks fast when using turn signal, blinks normal when using hazard lights. Study the circuit diagram: both scenarios the power flows through the hazard switch (although different contacts) and the flasher relay. Only when using turn signal does power flow through turn signal switch. Any ideas?

Want to try replacing flasher relay. Removing the gear shift and radio bezel is required and seems simple enough. However, upon re-installation, the Haynes manual instructs:
28 Installation is the reverse of removal.
29 Make sure to center the temp control knob by inserting the centering tab into the slot in the shaft.
30 Center the temp door by lining up the lug on its cable with the center of the detent spring. When both centering procedures have been done, snap the temp cable onto the temp knob shaft.
Not clear to me what that means. Can't find a video for it.

Can you post a picture of that section of the Haynes manual so we can visualize what's going on?
