I'm pulling the motor this weekend to re-do my worn out clutch.

Any suggestions on how to deal with that pain in the ass fuel filter
    connector?

Anything I should look for while the motor is out?

Yes, buy a new fuel filter and you will get the tool (plastic disconnector)
with the filter. Very easy with the right gadget!

    up with:
I've had great luck with using needlenose pliers to squeeze the connectors
    - I've even been able to do it by hand.

I'll be pulling an engine from a scapped '92 SL2 on Saturday. I've
never done it before, anything I should be aware of before/during?

I asked at the local dealership, all they had to say was that it was
easier to do from underneath. Unfortunately that's not an option for
    me...

    Cheers,

    I'd have a good time too if I had a hoist :)

Some mechanics should go back to working at McDonalds :)
