  1. I am looking for a replacement dome light for a 1997 Saturn sl2 4 dr. the light seemed dim , and when I went to remove the light cover, the clips that hold the light inter. liner snapped. I am currently looking for a replacement of the dome light assy.

    3 best bets:

your local junkyard will have plenty of Saturns to pick from.

6th planet used auto parts can send you one by mail.

your local Saturn dealership parts department.

If you purchase a used one, you will have the same problem... AGE.

Buy a new one at Saturn, they can't be that expensive.

I looked online and at local yards for the same part for the same exact
reason. After about two weeks I finall bit the bullet and went to Saturn
to get the part. I think it was under $10.00 if I remember correctly.

  5. My local Saturn parts was selling the assy for $33.00+tax.I went searching
online and got one from somewhere in either in WA or way upstate NY (it was
a few weeks ago ). They were selling it for 22.00 - 10% disc. made it
19.80.+s/h=28.00 total. It was better than the local shop. It went in like a
    snap and works great!
