Dome light replacement

I am looking for a replacement dome light for a 1997 Saturn sl2 4 dr. the light seemed dim , and when I went to remove the light cover, the clips that hold the light inter. liner snapped. I am currently looking for a replacement of the dome light assy.

If you purchase a used one, you will have the same problem... AGE.

Buy a new one at Saturn, they can't be that expensive.

I looked online and at local yards for the same part for the same exact
reason. After about two weeks I finall bit the bullet and went to Saturn
to get the part. I think it was under $10.00 if I remember correctly.

 

My local Saturn parts was selling the assy for $33.00+tax.I went searching
online and got one from somewhere in either in WA or way upstate NY (it was
a few weeks ago ). They were selling it for 22.00 - 10% disc. made it
19.80.+s/h=28.00 total. It was better than the local shop. It went in like a
snap and works great!

tape. The little plastic latches were
broken.
