I've hated the ABS braking on my Saturn since I bought it for my wife,
but it is worse now because I have to drive it myself. I drive on
gravel a lot, and the car often lurches downhill when I am trying to
creep down a steep gravel hill. The brakes also often release
momentarily in steep gravel parking lots, hard to believe I haven't had
an accident because of the ABS system yet. How can I disable the system
and just operate it manually? The dealer says the brakes are operating
    normally!!

The brakes were a big reason why I bought a Dodge instead of a Saturn
    this year.
