Help! I have a 2000 Saturn LS1 (2.2 liter) with cruise control built into
the steering wheel. (factroy) It has recently stopped working. If you
turn it on the light indicates power but the cruise will not set nor will it
accelerate with the accl button. I have switched out the 2 amp fuse without
    any luck.

If it were a bad fuse then would the cruise control light still come on?
The option of replacing the steering wheel I am sure is not a great option,
given the cost of factory Saturn parts.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Well, I know nothing about LS1 vehicles but I had the same problem with my
SL2. I don't think replacing the steering wheel is called for... in my case
they replaced a chip somewhere for a cool $400 CDN. It was worth it. I drove
across two fecking provinces pushing the geedee gas pedal because it had to
crap out while I was on vacation.

    Anyway, good luck with that.
