Clock spring for a 1999 VW Cabrio

    What is it and what does it do. Is it bad not to fix it and how hard is it
    to replace. Why is it going out after 47000 miles. If anyone has any in
    put need some help. Thanks

    This would probably be best left to a dealership to install. They'll
    know best how to disable and test the SRS system which you won't be able
    to do without special tools.
