  2. I would recommend valvoline. When I was still using dino juice instead of
full synthetic I tried Chevron a few times since they are across the street
literally and I always seemed to burn it up. I have a 98 SL2 with about
120,000 on it and when I was on non-synthetic I would actually use a bit
over a quart (up to 1 1/2) per change. With full synthetic in there for
about the last 25,000 miles I hardly burn 3/4's now. Regular dino juice
Valvoline has always worked pretty well for me in both Saturns I've owned
and a 71 Nova though. The Nova interestingly enough would burn almost no
oil between changes on valvoline but if I used Penzoil it would use about a
quart. In other words, it's obvious that oil is not the same from brand to
brand. Currently I've been using the Penzoil full synth 5W-30 that Jiffy
Lube puts in on synth oil changes though. I should also mention that I
drive pretty hard which probably explains the usage I was getting before I
switched to full synth about 95000.

Volvoline. It's made from Pennsylvania crude witch has a sticky quality that
    helps prevent ware during startups.
