Are Saturn owners mostly democrats?

  1. All the Saturn owners I know are supporting Kerry. It is an admittedly small
sample (5), but I find it interesting.

Back before I bought a Saturn, I thought all Saturn owners
were crazy (and most were bad drivers too). But after buying
a Vue, I decided this only applied to S series owners. As
for my political leanings - yeah I might vote for Kerry, but
I don't really want to claim I am "supporting" him. It is
more like I am forced to pick the lesser of two idiots.

Having a good driving record is not necessarily the same as
being a good driver. My ex doesn't have anything on her
record, but she'll scare the heck out of you if you ride
    with her.

I wasn't really serious about Saturn drivers being crazy.
However, when Saturns were "new" it seemed like they weren't
purchased by the "main stream" car buyers.

I've never been considered "mainstream". I think I'll take your comment as
    a compliment :)

Not wild about the choices. Trouble with elections is that no matter who you
vote for, you always wind up with a politician.
Been a lifelong Republican but even so, see Bush as the better of the two.
Just my $0.02 worth and hopefully the election will be decided this time by
    Wednesday.

  14. I haven't seen the correlation with Saturn ownership I have with other
    brands....

Volvos are largely driven by Democrats

    Ford F-150s largely by Republicans.

IBM is used largely by the GOP

Apple / Mac largely by Dems.

    Budweiser - Reps

    Michelob - Dems

    Chardonnay - Elephants

    Merlot - Donkeys

Don't mean to flame anyone here. Just my perception. I think it's
dangerous to categorize people...these are merely meant as meaningless
generalizations and certainly don't apply to everyone.

I'm a right leaning Saturn owner, for example, who enjoys a nice merlot...

Owned SL, LS voted Bush (unfortunately), Badnarik (fortunately. see
    badnarik.org)
Own PC and Apple. Drank Michy and Bud.

And Volvo is owned by Ford.

    I voted Bush.

From my perspective, I've noticed most of my democrat friends/relatives
drive toyotas and/or hondas. It's all
just anecdotal, though, until someone does a scientific study.
    Who wants to volunteer?
