Every time I start my car, within 10 seconds of driving forward, I hear an
audible sound of the ABS system relays clicking. It does it very quickly,
then is fine till I turn the car off. When I start again, within 10
seconds, it will cycle again. Has anyone ever experience this? It's done
it since I bought the car used. No other ill affects have occured. No ABS
light, no problems with braking. Just the annoying clicking sound. I
jacked the front end of the car up in the garage, and confirmed it was the
ABS relays by holding my hand on the relay case, while the wife put the car
in drive, and sure enough, a series of quick, loud, clicking noises.

It's just the computer doing a cycle test.

Never noticed any clicking sound but have noticed what appears to be some
action of the ABS apparently performing a test when I back out my driveway.
I've noticed this on occasion when pulling forward from a curb parking spot
too. No ill affects but I am very attuned to any sounds that the vehicle
makes. Guess this comes from driving the various 'bombs' in my mis-spent
youth. Going over a bump, if something fell off, I could tell exactly what
it was by the sound of it hitting the pavement :)
