98 SC1 Transmission problems

    Hoping for some advice here. The trans shifts very hard. Almsot
    feels like someone's rear ended me. Do you think this is really a
    trans problem, or a dying alternator causing this? I've seen that
    theory on this NG. To reply, remove the 1st part of the return
    address. Thanks.
