2007 Aura XE - Lucky me

  1. This car has been the best Saturn I've owned. I had a 1999 SC-2 that was
good, but it was at a time when SUV's were making me nervous. This car was
destroyed in a three car accident on the same day 36000 miles were recorded.
End of warranty, end of car.

The next car I had was the L200. As Consumer Reports wrote, which I read
after I purchased the car, was a dud. The first 50,000 miles was the
nightmare. The dealer in Bergen County kept me coming back for a bad head
gasket but didn't tell me. I don't know, the antifreeze kept going down. A
Morris County dealer fixed it. The nerve of that dealer and the service
tech's smirk. As they say, may he never get out of hell! I had this one
for about 125,000 miles before I got rid of it. Again, I was worried about
    side impacts.

The Aura was a chance car again, because it was on the market for just two
weeks. I test drove the Honda Accord, Ford Fusion, Honda Civic, Chevy
Impala, the old style Chevy Malibu, Pontiac Vibe, Toyota Matrix and the
Toyota Camry. I saw the Aura spinning around and said isn't that a sharp
car. One day I went to the Toyota dealer in Passaic County and he killed my
enthusiasm. Some young turk wanted my credit card, license and then bait
and switched. Oh, he had to talk to his manager how many times? I told him
I was too tired and wanted lunch, but then the mature manager came along and
was surprised that I liked lunch. After lunch Saturn got me again.

I have about 48,000 miles on it now and I like this car. I've had no
reoccuring issues. There was a problem with the brakes on the first day,
but the dealer immediately fixed it. For some reason the rotors warped.
Again, no problems and I still have the same tires. This care is classy and
rides really smooth. The last edition of Consumer Reports shows the XE and
    XR as reliable cars. ,
