Hi all, I have a code on my 2005 Saturn l300 with around 160k miles about a transmission control module. Does anyone know any solutions to this?

Hi all, I have a code on my 2005 Saturn l300 with around 160k miles about a transmission control module. Does anyone know any solutions to this?

Had same issue with my 2004 L300. Code was like 001 communication error. Was an absolute nightmare. Car would be in limp mode when you started it sometimes, and you couldn’t drive it. Ended up buying a new TCM, but the software program to program has been discontinued. It was GM Tech 2 program. After a couple of months a GM tech was final able to program it. Still have issues, but it might be once every 3 months depending on how much I drive it. Light now only comes on when driving and slightly rough shifts. If I turn the car off and wait about a minute and restart it the light goes off and it drives fine. Only have 115,000 miles on it.
