Hello to all who are currently active and those who may appear in the future. It may seem a little inactive with old posts and very few recent posts but I guess that's to be expected on a discontinued vehicle. In just 2 days of being here I've noticed Mods, admins, and guests are active so make sure to drop a hello, drop a question, or just snoop around. None the less there are still some of us out there running so this not only makes us kind of a limited group but an elite one if you will. We may not give the vette owners wave or "duckin" like jeep owners but we could always start something before all our parts become obsolete and we are forced to have someone 3D print them or make some custom fabrications you'd find in a MAdMax movie.
I own multiple vehicles and do a lot of my own repairs to save on cost and I honestly like turning wrenches and tinkering. I'm no pro by any means because I work full time driving rigs but more of a hobbyist with enough knowledge to fix it myself and that guy friends and family call on before paying pro mechanic wages (hence my username).
I own a 2005 Saturn Ion 1 that I bought with 40k miles back in Oct 2006 and have been maintaining it since. It is now at 147k and running strong. I was going to trade it in but the wife refused to let it go so I began restoring what I could as preventative maintenance as most parts not falling into routine maintenance were neglected and left factory. A code from cheap aftermarket ignition parts brought me here in my searching for answers and I thought I'd hang around and see if the forums are alive. I'm still poking around at old posts and seeing whos all here and what info is posted. I honestly didn't expect to find a forums for Saturn but here I am.

Welcome. There is a huge time Gap from 2010 to 2020 where almost no one was on this forum. I wasn't here for that, but we are here now and that's what matters
