2004 L300 approx 133,000 miles Desperate need for Mode Control Cam

circled small piece behind the large cam is broke and won't divert the air back through the vents. Part number 6 on the diagram is the blend door actuator just for reference. Part number given to me by Chevy dealership is 90586841 and is discontinued and they can't get it. If anybody has a donor car or knows of somebody that does, or if anybody has this part, please let me know. The car is in extremely good condition and I hate to get rid of it because of this, but i need the a/c coming out of the vents.

Try www.car-part.com = national network of wrecking yards.

And eBay ---people somehow managed to have the most obscure shit that someone else actually needs. You may actually need to visit a yard that still has a compatible year l300 or whichever L series are compatible and deconstruct the dash to get to it. I really doubt anyone has gone to that length, but you never know. Please check back in and let us know if you found it and where.

I scored an NOS headliner for a 1995 SC2 about 2 years ago. Some parts house just happened to be cleaning out old inventory and listed it.
