2003 saturn vue 5 speed transmission change to a cobalt 5 speed transmission

I was considering changing my saturn vue 5 speed transmission to a 5 speed cobalt transmission. MY saturn vue transmission revs around 3000 rpm at 70 mph which affects fuel economy. I understand and read the manual cobalt transmission the rpm is much less at highway speeds which increases fuel economy.Has anyone on know of anyone doing this swap, and how well did it work out.
