2002 SL2 rust problem

    Is it worth investing in fixing a lot of rust, ball joints, brakes, and so on. It has under 84,000 original miles. Very good exterior.

    Please be specific about the locations of the rust. If the car has lived in the rust belt where they sell the roads, I'm guessing the subframe is resting out, especially where the lower control arms meet the subframe.

    Take some pictures and post them please.

    My first thought was engine donor.
    My second thought was body donor/full vehicle donor.

    But let's see the pictures.

    How much oil does it burn per 3000 miles?
