I've got this code coming on after the car got hot one day, which
    explains why it got.

P0480 is what Autozone diagnosed. The PCM has determined that a
malfunction exists in the control circuit for cooling fan 1.

P0481: Same thing, except with cooling fan 2.

P0133: The response time for oxygen sensor 1 in bank 1 was too slow
during testing. Easy enough to replace and figure out, I believe.

What should/can I do myself about codes 480 and 481?

    Thanks!

Make sure that the cooling fan is coming on when the engine reaches elevated
temperature. Monitor the gauge if the vehicle has one and make sure the
temperature rises linearly and stop before it redlines if the fan does not
kick in. If the vehicle has AC, then turn it on and the fan(s) should start
automatically along with the AC compressor.

If the fan does not come on, then it is either a blown fuse, a defective
coolant temperature sensor, a bad fan relay, bad wiring/connectors, or a
defective fan. You need to trouble shoot from there based on what you see
or take it to someone who can do it for you.

    Good luck.

Might be easy enough to replace but is that the root cause? Dont know
how many miles you have on your car but it might also be due for a tune
    up.

The car does have right at 112,000 miles on it. At 70K miles, the
drivetrain was fixed (lifters, timing belt, valves, etc) as they were
chattering and sounded like it was knocking. At 80K the fuel pump
went out and was replaced. The car, otherwise, has been a good car up
to this point. We change the oil regurly but I haven't done any other
repair work to it or much maintenance. I think at the 70K mile point
when the drivetrain was fixed the plugs and wires were replaced as
well. is there a way to tell if they are the original ones or not?
The work on the drivetrain was done by a Saturn dealership.

I'll check the other options as mentioned above. Now that it's
mentioned, I think the light comes most of the time when the AC is
turned on, but it does come on at times when the AC isn't turned on.

    Thanks for the help!!!!
