makes noise in D and R, not a constant but more often than not. Noise
follows pitch of engine RPM. Grandpa bought this for my daughter two weeks
ago. seller gave him a month to bring back if something major happened.
Possible tranny?,or power steering pump? Any advice would be greatly
appreciated. All fluid levels check out. No apparent leaks. Thanks a
    ton!!!

Take it to a transmission shop and let them look at it. May just need a
fluid change and filter in the trany. Worst case may be a bad torque
converter or pump housing. Tranmission rebuild time in that case.
