2000 LS2 Camshaft Sprocket Bolts

    I replaced the thermostat on my 2000 LS2 and of course had to pull the rear timing belt cover which meant pulling the camshaft sprockets the question I have is that you are not suppose to reuse the sprocket bolts and was wondering if anyone knew of a source to purchase new ones.

    Determine the part number, search places like GM partsgiant.com, GM parts direct.com, etc, eBay. Some of the GM sites will actually list the details of the fastener allowing you to go out and find a replacement with the correct thread pitch, length etc
