    Hello All!
Just joined here and trying to help a neighbor with their 1998 Saturn SW-1. Coolant fan runs with AC on but does not run with AC off, resulting in boiling over when left at idle after a drive. I suspect coolant temp switch is faulty, but a quick look yesterday and I couldn't locate the sensor, and engine was very hot to go feeling around.. You tube video's show sensor location but not for the same engine. Google search did not help. Please share info or link to diagram showing sensor location.
    Much appreciated!

This should do the trick for you, I had a '92 SL1 that had the early temp sensor with the plastic end, not the later brass end, they were infamous for corroding and dissolving, the brass helped a lot, also like he says in the video watch for corrosion in the electrical socket that connects the Temp Sensor to the computer.
