1994 Saturn SL2 DOHC 1.9 Litre with a severe Vibration in the passenger front wheel when then car is

Discussion in 'Saturn S-series' started by wrightprice1977, Nov 22, 2005.

  1. Is there anyone out there that mite know what is causing this? It has been
doing this for just for a short time and it is only when the car is Cold
and in Gear. The weird thing is that it is even worse when the car is in
reverse, When you turn the wheel, pulling over a curb, or hit a bump, but
it doesnt always do it when driving the car straight. This vibration and
whining goes away once the car has wormed up. If someone has any clues I
would very much appreciate the help.

    Regards,

I have the car you describe. My son is the primary driver. I started the
car tonight and it seemed nosier than usual. The car DOES vibrate in cold
weather but subsides when warm. My son nor have experienced the "wheel"
problem. I probably haven't answered your concern but, I plan to keep a
closer eye on the car's status. Thanks for alerting me.

bad upper motor mount.. all saturns seem to buzz somewhat when cold but
get really bad when the upper mount is bad. Mine looked good and even
passed the finger test but once remove it was cracked along the bottom
    from end to end.
