'01 LW300 HVAC panel replace I replaced the entire HVAC control panel last year. The blower selector switch was fried and I couldn't find the switch alone - only came as part of the entire panel - at 0... Oh well, that's water under the dam. Now I notice that the A/C compressor comes on (a/c request) one click CCW of floor heat (on the right side selector knob). The old panel had the compressor kick in one click CCW of Defrost+Floor heat. The vent selector 'switch' is really only a potentiometer- the wiper of which supplies a control voltage to a servo motor that controls the air routing. That part is working properly. The control voltage also drives some digital control -also within the hvac panel - that generates the a/c request signal that feeds the BCM. The threshold of where this signal comes in is in question. I looked in the service manual to see if there was some calibration for this but could not find anything. Anybody have any feedback on this problem?? I can always try to re-assemble the old panel and swap it out into the new module - just messy. Thanks - Oppie
